Questions families ask
Plain answers about Nabzs, the family health app for Android.
What is Nabzs?
Nabzs is a family health tracker app for Android. It keeps every medicine, dose, reading, document, doctor visit and hospital stay for everyone you look after in one place, so you can look after your parents' health even from another city. Nabzs was founded by Ravish Kumar in New Delhi, India.
Who is Nabzs for?
Families who look after each other. Most often that's grown-up children caring for their parents from far away, but it works for anyone you look after: a child, a grandparent, or yourself. A visiting nurse or helper can be invited to help with one person.
How do medicine reminders work?
Each dose rings at its time, on the person's own phone or on yours. If it rings on their phone and nobody marks it within 30 minutes, your phone lets you know. A dose can be marked Taken straight from the reminder, and the family sees it.
Can Nabzs read prescriptions, lab reports and hospital bills?
Yes. Take a photo and Nabzs reads it with AI: medicines and their times, such as 1-0-1, numbered the way the doctor wrote them; lab results grouped by body system; and bill lines matched against what you logged during a hospital stay. You check everything before it's saved, and you can always type things in yourself.
Will it tell me when a medicine is running out?
Yes. Nabzs counts the tablets at home, shows the day each medicine runs out, and works out how many to buy up to the date you choose.
What happens during a hospital stay?
That person's home doses and reminders pause. You can log the deposit and what's spent each day, then check the final bill line by line before you pay (what to look for). When they come home, their medicines pick up again.
Which languages does Nabzs speak?
English, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu. Each phone can use its own language, so Ma can read it in Hindi while you use English.
Who can see my family's health information?
Your family, as each person's sharing settings allow, and caregivers you invite, who see only one person and only the parts you allow. Each adult who signs in decides whether the family sees their medicines, readings and documents. Data is stored in India, there are no ads, and personal data is never sold. Pages you scan are sent to an AI service to be read; the privacy policy has the details.
Is Nabzs a medical device?
No. Nabzs is a family health tracker. It doesn't diagnose or give medical advice, and the usual ranges it shows are a family guide. Always follow your doctor.
